Incomparably Great!

Paul asks God for just two things for the believers:
1. The Father would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. (V.17)

2. That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know (v. 18):

a. the hope to which he has called you,

b. the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

c. his incomparably great power for us who believe. (v.19)

Paul describes His power in three ways:
1. “___________” – is our word “__________,”-

Four examples:

2. “___________” – power that overcomes _______________.

“…the What’s our “weapon” - Eph 6:17 “…the _______ of the Spirit which is the _______ of God."

Heb 4:12 TLB – “For whatever God says to us is full of living power: it is sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires with all their parts, exposing us for what we really are.”

God’s word is “mighty”- it overcomes all ____________, but we have to know it and use, get it inside and speak it outside boldly!

3. “__________” – God’s inherent muscle, power or ___________.

Our problem is we’re not always using _________ to prepare us to walk in His strength as Paul did.
