God has given us the disciplines of the spiritual life as a means of receiving His grace. Disciplines allow us to place ourselves before God, so that He can transform us.

Today: Service
1. Service is the way of the Kingdom.

Servant - diakonos - literally “thoroughly dust” - Someone who kicks up dust in the service of the Lord.
2. Service is spiritual.
Practical things are spiritual!
Service should begin in the local church. It is the place where your gifting character are forged so that you can fulfill the calling to greatness on your life.

3. Service is a lifelong call to greatness.
It is our whole life that is called to service.
Becoming a servant of God is not something that you do for season, but rather, it is who you are and what you are as an example of Christ.
