Last week we looked at the life of Shamgar. We learned that:
God has a path/plan for you.
The Enemy wants to scare you off the path.
God has given you authority over the enemy.
God equips you for the journey.
Our job is to wrestle and Engage with God’s Word to know the path.

Building Strong Families • Room 203 • Pastor Dave and Team • This new Blocks class will focus on the topics of parenting, marriage and providing helpful, practical and spiritual solutions in building your family.
Praying Through Tough Times • Room 106 • Jenny Henneberger • How often Christians find themselves worn down by circumstances, by relationships, or by their own heart struggles! Join us as we begin a walk through this course for renewed vision for prayer even during life’s toughest circumstances. Book $9
Study of Luke • Room 108/109 • Kris Schwambach, Karen Kizlin, Steve Sallee • Do you want to understand God’s Word more? Come and walk with us through the Book of Luke as we study the details of His birth, His childhood and the very human side of Jesus.
Recovery Cafe Study • Room 105 • The Celebrate Recovery Team • You can experience true peace as you find freedom from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

Sr. Adult Bible Class • Room 108-110 • Various Speakers Senior Adults are invited to fellowship, sing traditional hymns, and hear a message taught from God’s Word.
1 Corinthians Bible Study • Room 104 • Reggie Heck • Using the study guide by Tom Wright, we will walk through 1 Corinthians. This study uses the popular inductive method combined with Wright’s thoughtful insights to bring contemporary application of Scripture to life. Book $7.50
GOD IS • Kevin Poelhuis • Discover who God is and what God is doing now.

NIGHT OF STORIES: Hear inspiring stories of how Jesus changes people right here at Bethel. Come to celebrate this life change, take communion and worship. If you would like to share your story and be baptized on this Night of Stories, talk to Dr. Prince immediately the service.
KiDZ! BAPTISM CLASS: If you would like to learn more about your child being baptized. Come meet with our KiDZ! Director on Sunday, August 5th at 10:40AM in room 121 for a short class on getting baptized.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR McGARY: Help replenish the Bethel Room at McGary School. Pick up a list at the Events Center in the lobby to purchase supplies showing the love of Christ to one of the schools in our Church neighborhood.
CAMPUS NOTE: Security is being updated in our building with the addition of new doors and procedures. Bethel volunteers please check with your team leaders if you need to access the building prior to 8:15AM on Sunday mornings. Thank you for your cooperation as we do our best to keep the building secure in preparation for Sunday gatherings.
MIDDLE SCHOOL: Every Sunday morning MS students gather at Jeremiah’s in the west parking lot at 9:30AM. All Middle School students are welcome!

COLLEGE AND CAREER: 18-25 year olds gather today for free lunch and community at the house behind Bethel (411 S. Hebron). Also, this Tuesday at 7PM gather for worship and Bible study. See Pastor James Helm for more information.
