Five commands to follow:
1. Treat others with respect (1-3)
2. Families honor God by caring for family members (4, 8, 16)
3. Church family must care for those without family (5-7)
4. Older widows must be of good character to receive care (9-10)
5. Younger widows should marry and avoid sinfulness (11-15)
Four principles to live by:
• I should be known for respecting others.
• My otherish actions show Jesus’ love is real.
• Talking about others shouldn’t consume my time.
• Serving others should be my lifestyle.
Three questions to answer:
Who can our church better serve?
What sort of character do my actions project?
How can I do love to someone this week?
