God said to Enoch, “Come away with me!”

What makes Enoch a hero of the faith and what was his super-power?

WALKING WITH GOD!
1. Enoch’s life show us… HOW to WALK with GOD - His life had a mission and focus.

Consistent and daily walking… he went where God went!

His walk put distance between himself and the things of the world.

-Daily
-Pick a best time
-Be realistic
-Keep asimplejournal
-Make a list of people to pray for
-Write downprayerneeds/requests
-Keep trackofreflections
-Hang in there
-Don’tbediscouraged
-Be creative
2. Enoch’s faith teaches us… the POWER in FAITH in GOD - His faith pleased God.

Faith=Trusting commitment of one person to another, particularly of
a person to God.

Belief = loyalty to a person to whom one is bound by promise or
duty.
3. Enoch’s message to the world… still RINGS LOUD and TRUE from HEAVEN - He is an example for us to follow.

The message is unpopular and people may not like us

We could risk the loss of loved ones

People do not want to hear that they will be judged someday
Several take-away's from Enoch’s story…

1. Life is not always fair.
2. God used/still uses Enoch’s story to reach lost people.
3. Enoch knew how to say, “I choose to lose!”
4. Enoch never quit walking with God.
5. Enoch never lifted himself up.
6. Enoch teaches us not to neglect God daily.
7. Enoch teaches us how we need to proclaim God’s message to the people of the earth.
8. Enoch’s servant attitude with God brought him much more fame and fortune than he could ever have attained for himself doing things his own way.
Reflection questions:
1) Are you walking with God daily?
2) Are you pleasing God?
3) How are you sharing the Gospel through your life of faith?

Are you ready to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior?
