Welcome to Grace Chapel! Christ’s love for us is the seed of obedience. When it’s properly tended, it yields a harvest of obedience. This obedience is inseparable from the love which motivates it and the joy which results from it. To love Christ is to obey Him; to obey Christ is to love Him.

When our life is hidden in Christ it becomes a display of God’s glory to the world.
The PATH of abiding: Connection to God and obedience to His commandments. (v. 10)

The REWARD of abiding: The fullness of joy in Christ. (v.11)

Joy is the flag that flies over the castle of our hearts announcing that the king is in His residence today.
It is my joy to stay in Him and His delight to display His glory in me.
This week I will:
• Evaluate my heart motives and read Hebrews 4:12 to adjust and be obedient in a situation I am facing.
• Pray for God’s help in making a biblical decision and not rest on my own understanding or power.
• In Christ, God is for us (cf. Romans 8:31–34); list twelve ways I know this is true in my life now.
• Ask someone to hold me accountable for an area I know needs to change in my life.
