Next weekend, on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 after both weekend gatherings we will be having our annual Calvary Kids Water World Weekend up at the pavilion for kids up to 6th grade! Kids are encouraged to bring a water toy, change of clothes, and a towel because everyone’s guaranteed to get soaked and have a blast! In just a few weeks, on Saturday, July 7 we will be mobilizing all of Calvary to serve our community through what we call "The Big Serve". We believe that "We are blessed to be a blessing,” and through "The Big Serve" we strive to bless the community around us through various projects Irwin and North Huntingdon. Projects range from painting, to cleaning, to pulling weeds. There’s really something for all ages, kids included! This will be a great day for the entire family to get out and serve our community. Everyone that participates will get a free t-shirt and we’ll have a cookout following the morning of serving at the church for all our volunteers. Next month from July 30-August 3, we will hosting our annual Calvary Kids Summer Camp. This is an incredible week for kids in Preschool through 6th Grade with camps including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, cheerleading, musical theater, cooking and two new camps this year, art and ultimate frisbee! We also have a camp for Preschoolers and Kindergartners, called Junior Campers. To make this week happen, it takes an incredible team of people to serve and care for our campers.
