Kid Connection Summer Volunteers Needed!

It takes a village to raise a child, and it takes many volunteers to staff Kid Connection over the summer. Kid Connection does more than keep track of children while parents are in the main service. They provide opportunities for children to begin growing into disciples. We learned a few weeks ago in Mark 10:14 that Jesus loves children, and wants them to come to Him. We can do our part by serving the children in our congregation and showing them the love of Christ. If you’re interested in serving in Kid Connection this summer, stop by the Kid Connection table in the lobby, or email Kelli (kmcgill@efree.org).

RightNow Media

Check your Inbox!

This morning during service you should have received an email giving you free access to RightNow Media - it’s like the "Netflix of Video Bible Studies" and has a HUGE library of faith-based videos aimed at helping you grow. You can access the videos wherever you want (on your phone, computer, at home on your TV) and with whoever you want (alone, with your spouse, with your small group). Log in and look around!

Didn’t get the email? Check your spam! Still having trouble? Contact Robin (rharms@efree.org).

Diaper Drive

Approximately 1 in 3 mothers struggle to provide clean diapers for their children. Help us support Bethany Christian Services and their work with St. Louis families by bringing wipes and diapers of all sizes to the First Free lobby May 6-20.

Elder Prayer Gathering

In James 5, James says, “Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.” To that end, the Elders are meeting Thursday, May 24, at 7 pm, in Room 372, and they would love the opportunity to pray with you. James mentions those who are "sick", and the Elders definitely want to pray for those who are facing sickness and desire prayer. But if there are other needs beyond sickness for which people seek prayer, the Elders would love to offer up prayers on their behalf.

We are ready to start putting our volunteer teams together! Camp is scheduled for July 23-27. If you're interested in learning about service opportunities, contact Kelli McGill (kmcgill@efree.org).
