John 15:18-27
1: The God of the Exiles
(vss 1-2)
"The Lord gave..." - It was by God's hand they were here
(vss 1-2)
"The Lord gave..." - It was by God's hand they were here
2: The "University of Babylon"
(vss 3-7)
We must be aware the world is constantly trying to press us into its mold.
Romans 12:1-2 (J.B. Phillips New Testament)
Satan will try do the same thing the Babylonian king was doing:
a) Isolate them away from their believing friends and place of worship
b) Indoctrinate them with an unbiblical worldview and culture
c) Confuse them as to their identity
(vss 3-7)
