Jesus was walking down the road and ran into a funeral procession coming the other way. He stopped, saw the crying mom and decided to bring her son back to life. The funeral was cancelled. 1 Sometimes life gets ugly. The widow in the story had lost her only son to death. Chances are, she was about to be out on the street, with no life and no way to support herself. Life isn't fair on this side of heaven. Sometimes it's cruel and ugly. But not forever. - A veces la vida se pone fea. La viuda en nuestra historia había perdido su único hijo, y, probablemente, ya no iba a tener como vivir ni comer. La vida no es justa aquí en la tierra. A veces la vida se pone cruel y fea. Pero la injusticia no es para siempre.

2 Jesus has compassion on us. Here, in this story, he felt compassion for the widow, and Jesus sees your pain and your confusion and has compassion for you too. Cristo se compadece de nosotros. En ésta historia, Cristo se compadeció de la viuda, y el se da cuenta de tu dolor y de tu confusión y tiene compasión para ti también.

3 Jesus conquered death. He raised the boy back to life, because Jesus holds the keys of death and hell and is the resurrection and the life. Cristo conquistó a la muerte. He recusitó al niño y le dió vida porque el tiene las llaves de la muerte y del infierno, y es la resurrección y la vida.

4 Jesus deserves our worship. As soon as the boy was raised to life, the people praised God. We worship Jesus because He has saved us and given us eternal life. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Cristo merece nuestra adoración. Cuando Cristo resucitó al niño, la gente alababa a Dios. Adoramos a Cristo porque el nos ha salvado y nos ha dado vida eterna. El es Rey de Reyes y Señor de Señores.

5 God has come to help his people. That's what the crowd said after they witnessed Jesus' miracle. And, guess what? God has come to help you, too. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead to give you salvation, and eternal life, and a hope, and a future. Call on Jesus and be saved, delivered and set free! Dios ha venido en ayuda a su pueblo. Es lo que la gente dijo después de ver el milagro de Cristo. ¿Sabes qué? Dios ha venido para ayudarte a ti, también. Cristo murió en la cruz y recusitó para darte salvación, vida eterna, una esperanza, y un futuro. Clama a Cristo hoy, y sé salvo, sé transformado, y sé libre.
