It takes a village to raise a child, and it takes many volunteers to staff Kid Connection over the summer. Kid Connection does more than keep track of children while parents are in the main service. They provide opportunities for children to begin growing into disciples. We learned a few weeks ago in Mark 10:14 that Jesus loves children, and wants them to come to Him. We can do our part by serving the children in our congregation and showing them the love of Christ. If you’re interested in serving in Kid Connection this summer, stop by the Kid Connection table in the lobby, or email Kelli (email@example.com).
If you are new to First Free, we invite you to a casual, interactive gathering called Bridge Builders. It's a great opportunity to discover the heart behind First Free Church, meet some ministry leaders, and make some new friends. We meet on the second and third Sundays of each month in Room 314 from 9:00 — 10:15 am (during first service). For more information, email Pat Brucato at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Advent Conspiracy team has been hard at work planning ways to bless our neighborhood and our neighbors through sponsoring a week of Kanakuk day camp for kids from Carman Trails Elementary School. We are ready to start putting our volunteer teams together! Camp is scheduled for July 23-27. If you're interested in learning about service opportunities, contact Kelli McGill (email@example.com).
Guest Connection Ministry volunteers provide a warm welcome, caring connections, and helping hands. If you are wired by God with the gifts of service, hospitality, leadership, mercy, discernment, or encouragement, here are ways to mature as a Christ follower and get connected through serving:

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a great program that welcomes and supports mothers. We have a full group of MOPS, but we are having to start a wait list because we don't have enough childcare workers. MOPS meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 9:15 to 11:15 am. Can you help with childcare? If so, contact Kathy Wibbermeyer at firstname.lastname@example.org or 314.221.8075.
