Pastor Joseph Salajan Bio
Pastor Joe was born in the little town of Crasna (Romania). Ever since he was a child, he has been fascinated by the unique connection between pastors and their special book, the Bible. When at the age of 7 he received his first little Bible from a brave pastor who was able to procure it for him in spite of the interdictions of the communist regime, he felt special and decided one day he would become a pastor.

After serving as a Pastor for 8 years in Romania, in 2013 he immigrated to the USA. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church. Along with his wonderful wife Anda and their gorgeous daughter Alessandra, he enjoys proclaiming God’s grace and ministering to his fellows.

Pastor Joe is currently enrolled in a doctoral Program (DMin in Preaching) with Andrews University. His hobbies are languages, music, and poetry.

Sermon Theme:

Redemption as it is seen by aliens: they (the angels) are ready to help us proclaim a multiethnic Gospel about a multiethnic redemption.

Social Media Tags to share with friends:

Do aliens exist? Are they for us, or against us?

This looks like the council meeting in the heavenly throne-room.
This heavenly council appears in other parts of the Bible. It seems that through a council! For instance, Job 1:6

Where are you From?

In both cases, God asks Satan: Where are you coming from? To which he answers loftily: "" (1:7; 2:2) This is a very Hebraic way to say: I went to check on my real estate…
Earth's Original Rulers

Adam and Eve were its original rulers.Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have … (Gen. 1:28 NKJ) Psalm 8 says that God, the King of the Universe, crowned them… But when they fell in sin (listened to Satan), Satan took possession of Earth…
So who are the 24 elders?

It seems that the other members of the heavenly council are also rulers… of other planets. In Revelation 5, the authority over planet Earth is officially transferred from Satan to Christ. Jesus vanquished Satan! As a consequence, Satan was completely cast out from heaven together with his rebellious aliens… (Rev. 12). From now on, Satan cannot attend the heavenly council; Jesus stands in for Adam…
Who They Aren't

Someone may say, I was thought the 24 elders are the humans that were resurrected at Jesus’ resurrection and taken to heaven…

They cannot be those, because when those “captives” get to heaven with the resurrected Jesus, the 24 elders are already there…

They actually sing (they have harps… chitara… lyre) about those who are redeemed from planet Earth…
Why the Praise?

The 24 elders praise the Lamb not merely because He was slain, but because He has redeemed men… Obviously, they know what is going on with the human race. The apostle Paul says we have been made a (theatron) to the world ( (1 Cor. 4:9). They can They care about our eternal wellbeing!
The Marketplace

The verb for redeemed is agorazo, which comes from the noun agora(market place).Thisbrings in mind the slave trade that used to happen in the market place… The 24 elders say: they were slaves/captives but you bought them back! How? He paid life for life…
…out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation! The 24 are not colorblind. They see a redemption that is Revelation is strong on this!
What is the implication?

Christ’s church is on a multiethnic, multicultural mission!

Rev 5:10

The Restoration

In the end, the redeemed kings and priests will rein on the earth… Adam and Eve were not only the rulers, but also the priest of this earth… The Garden of Eden is described in the language of the Sanctuary! Each descendent of Adam would have been king and priest. But we lost our kingship and our priesthood was also destroyed… The whole plan of Salvation is about restoring our kingship and priesthood…
Scared of His Voice

God started with a nation; He wanted a whole kingdom of priests… (Exod. 19:7) but when God showed up to ordain them, they got scared… and told Moses: "You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die." (Exod. 20:18-19)
Plan B

So instead of a nation of priests, God had to settle for priests in a nation. He set up for a plan B… and he called Aaron and his sons from the tribe of Levi. But when Jesus came to complete Redemption, he came as a Priest, a better according to the priesthood of Melchizedek (the king-priest), whose priesthood was limited…
The Main Question

The question, Are you a Christian? is the same as, Are you a priest?
