Money is necessary, but it is also very misunderstood. It has no value until we give it value. Money is neither good nor bad until we start to use it because it takes on our personality. Today, we will talk about the best way to use the money you have and the money you get later in the future.

What is the best thing you've ever spent your money on? The worst?
Here’s the thing: money itself is completely neutral. It is not a good thing and it’s not a bad thing. But as soon as we begin to use it, it takes shape based on how we use it. We make it either good or bad.
10, 10, 80 is a formula, a rule, a principle for money. And here’s how it goes:
First and foremost … you tithe 10% of your money. After you’ve done that, you save 10% of your money. And once you’ve done those things, you can spend and give 80% of your money as you need to and want to. So let’s dive into these a little deeper.

Tithe 10%
Modern Tithing
When you get a check or a paycheck, this should be the first thing that you do. You should take 10% out of it and tithe it.
So what is a tithe? A tithe is the first portion (literally means tenth) of your money that you give to the local church. It represents that you know that God is your provider and that it’s all His anyways. You’re basically saying, “Here God, I trust You. I give You back the first of anything I make.”
This is one of the most important things you could do with your money. It grows your faith, it helps you put your trust in God, and keeps things in the
perspective that it’s all God’s anyways.

This is the only place where God tell us to test Him. He promises that when we tithe because we want to and with a thankful heart, that He will bless us because
of it.
Now this doesn’t mean that you should give to get, because that defeats the point of tithing. But God is saying that it’s so important to Him, that He will
continue to return the favor so to speak.
And this also doesn’t mean that when you tithe you’ll get brand-new, shiny things or phone upgrades. It just means that God sees our tithe, and will continue
to take care of us through it.

How Teens Can Become Millionaires
One of the worst things you could do in your life is to go into debt. Debt is like being handcuffed and shackled to a cold, stone wall while being locked up in aprison cell. The bigger the debt you have, the less freedom you’ll have. Saving solves the debt problem.
Here is a cool savings chart of two kids that saved money. Try to see figure out the secret to why one ended up with more money than the other.

Spend/Give 80%
In the end, money is only a tool. It's NOT our end goal.
You get to do what ever you want with this last 80%! If you had $1 that would be 80 cents! To do whatever you want with! You could pay some bills … which many of you don’t have yet. You can buy some things that you want! You could even use it to help some other people out. It’s yours to do what you want!
Money isn’t good or bad until we use it a certain way. So, let’s use it for good. Let’s use it to help people. Let’s be people who are known for being generous.
And my prayer for you is that you’ll get this principle, this formula down:
First 10% - Tithe
Next 10% - Save
Last 80% - Spend and give
Once you get that down and start to actually do it, you’ll begin to live in such a way that you’ll be setting your future up for great success and allowing yourself to be open to do what ever God has in store for you.
