CORE STATEMENT: There is a biblical mandate repeated in Scripture that as a follower of Jesus Christ, YOU invest in others what Jesus and others have invested in you.

DEFINITION: Replication means reproducing the teaching and the life of Jesus Christ in a man or woman who shows themselves to be faithful, available, and teachable.

TRUTH: Replication is the heart of the Great Commission.

INSIGHT: Child of God, Christ’s will is that you live a life of replicating Christ’s teaching and Christ’s lifestyle into others who will repeat the process in the lives of others.

TRUTH: Paul taught Timothy to teach the Church that their life was to be disciples of Jesus Christ who discipled others, who discipled others.

TRUTH: The principle of mentoring is the work of modeling, guiding, and influencing.

INSIGHT: Paul invited Timothy to a ministry of perpetual generational replication. Timothy would mentor men who would in turn mentor men who would be mentors.

TRUTH: Discipleship is absolutely essential to the perpetuation of the Christian faith.

INSIGHT: Learning is enhanced when we share our knowledge with others. You will grow more when you give than when you just receive.

INSIGHT: Through a pulpit ministry a church can grow wide, but it takes discipleship, one-on-one, for a church to grow deep.

INSIGHT: For years we have focused on bringing people in; this we can never stop doing, but it’s time to shift to also sending people out.

WHAT NOW?
1. Pray about whom God would have you take under your wing.
2. Are they a cul-de-sac/dead-end Christian?
3. Are they F.A.T.?

TRUTH: There is a call, Christian, on your life. You are called to take personal responsibility for another person, to assist them in becoming an intimate follower of Jesus Christ.
