1. A disaster is something that happens suddenly and your not prepared for it.
- Disasters, Emergency situations and Isolation - what is the difference.
- With Covid 19 most countries took drastic steps.
- Suddenly we were subjected to a lot of regulations of musts and must not's and that had an influence on our lives - some more than others.
Yet! In Christ Jesus you can survive.

- Disasters and emergency situations go together - Covid was a disaster and an emergency situation that demanded Isolation. All 3 at once. SA is no. 73 out of 180 countries in terms of corruption.
2. Ask yourself the question. How solid is my faith foundation and if it gets shaken will I remain standing?
A couple of examples:
1. Build your life on the Lord as a unshakable foundation.
- Joseph a type of a messiah; a type of a saviour. In a time of lack the Lord used him to open the store rooms of provision. Perhaps God wants to use you? Ask Him!
Lord thank you that You blessed me to be a blessing.

- Isaac - Isaac wanted to go to Egypt but the Lord said, No! He sowed in a time of famine.
3 Things:
1. You don't go anywhere without the leading of the Holy Spirit. Not out of your country, not out of your city/town, not out of your church.
NB: Can you move? Yes! you can under the leading of the Holy Spirit.
2. You sow where God has placed you like Isaac and God will bless you like Isaac, even 100 fold.
3. With a 100 fold blessing you can bless and it lays a foundation for future blessing in the future world.

Now is a good time to sow with a thought for eternity.
A thought: Leave 10% of your last will and testament to Gods work.
A thought: Leave 10% of your last will and testament to Gods work.
2. Stay in the Gospel of grace and don't listen to all the accusation and condemnation.
- Sprinkling of blood by Moses on the people in the Old Testament.
- Abel sacrificed a 1st born lamb and it speaks of Jesus the Lamb of God that was the sacrifice for our sin's.
- Jesus blood speaks of forgiveness - it speaks of better things than the blood of Abel's sacrifice.
- Blood has a voice.
- Jesus blood speaks of forgiveness - it speaks of better things than the blood of Abel's sacrifice.
- Blood has a voice.
7 Times Jesus says: "Your sins are forgiven."
- Out of forgiveness Jesus heals the bedridden man and communion is a symbol of that.
The blood speaks of reconciliation.
The blood speaks of reconciliation.
Corus: I'm going to stay right under the blood.
3. Keep your eyes on Jesus the unshakable saviour.
Hebrews is the faith pavilion and certain heroes of faith are mentioned.
- Regardless of everything they had to stand for in faith they kept expecting (Jesus) their Deliverer.
- Their struggles and their victories are there to encourage us.
- Regardless of everything they had to stand for in faith they kept expecting (Jesus) their Deliverer.
- Their struggles and their victories are there to encourage us.
1. Abel - His sacrificial "Lamb" a first born lamb speaks of Jesus the only begotten son of God.
2. Henoch - Walked with God for 300 years in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.
2. Henoch - Walked with God for 300 years in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.
- Sarah - that received power to conceive and gave birth to Isaac out of a dead womb.
NB: All the heroes of faith only received a portion of the promises of God, yet they kept their faith because they didn't feel at home in this world and in their earthy circumstances, they looked out and were expecting to go to their permanent home in heaven.
Very NB: They challenge me to invest in heavenly things; knowing that all the earthly things will pass away.
