Meet the Candidates

The community is invited to the Meet The Candidates event for state representative candidates this Tuesday, March 13, 7:00 pm at Koinos Church, 722 Grant Street, Troy. Dr. Mark Smith, Professor of Political Science at Cedarville University, will moderate the event. All five candidates for state representative have been invited and all four Republican candidates have confirmed that they will attend. The audience will hear about the values and positions of each candidate in preparation for the primary election on May 8.

Heidi Beaman is inviting moms of FBC to join her in going through Becoming MomStrong, “How to fight with all that’s in you for your family and your faith,” by Heidi St. John, speaker and author of The Busy Mom blog and founder with her husband, Jay, of Firmly Planted Family Ministry. To start, we will meet one Friday night a month in the Connections Café at FBC from 7pm-9pm beginning March 30th.
