Introduction

Somewhere in the journey of faith a transition has to happen.

Somewhere, somehow as Christians we need to find ourselves moving away from “serve-us” to “service” ... Where the church is no longer a place we go “to be served” but “to serve”.

A church and ministry like ours requires a lot of helping hands and faithful
hearts! ... And according to Jesus that’s a very good thing!

The Lord intends for us to be a full-service station equipped and committed to serving each other and the needs of our community.

We are a church with many servants, but I believe we can step up our
servanthood!

Inspect your attitude.

The “mind” of Christ means the “attitude” Christ exhibited.

Certainly as God, Jesus Christ did not need anything.

Inspire your usefulness.

Jesus thought of others and became a servant!

What to you do, at all, for the kingdom of God and for others that identifies you a servant?

God would not give you inborn talents and abilities, spiritual gifts, and all sorts of life experiences and then not want you to use them for His glory.

A key to improving your serve is to discover how God has “shaped” you to serve.

Have you ever noticed as you read the four Gospels that it is Jesus who serves others, not others who serve Jesus?

Increase your giving.

Many people are willing to serve others if it does not cost them anything.

A person with the right attitude and is willing to be used does not avoid sacrifice.

It is one of the paradoxes of the Christian life that the more we give, the more we receive; the more we sacrifice, the more God blesses.
