1. An underdog is someone who people think will never have a chance of winning a fight or a contestor that will never make it in life.
- Everybody expects the Top dog to win.
- Underdogs advantage - nobody expects you to win except you - you know how to get up, dress up and show up and then you win in this life.
- Underdogs are not noticed, they have less power, less money, less physical ability and less opportunities! Is that you?

2. Life only has challenges, if you look at life and your situation as a problem, it will stay a problem.
- There's no need to fear, underdog is here!
- In honesty we like to see the small David, beat up the big Goliath - in it we see a little of ourselves, so you look for areas in which you can win.

- We can't even boast about our salvation.
3. The Bible is full of stories of underdogs (misfits).
1. Common fisherman as disciples of Jesus.
2. Gideon with 300 men win against 135,000 well trained Midianites.
3. Moses versus Pharaoh.
4. Daniel versus Babilion.
5. You and I versus: The flesh/The world/The devil.

GOD CHOOSES GIDEON
- Jews were robbed, killed, their crops and cattle stolen and the Lord appears to Gideon.

- The Angel of the Lord (Jesus) calls Gideon.
A MIGHTY MAN OF FEARLESS COURAGE.
I declare every underdog to be what Gideon was called. A mighty man/woman of fearless courage.
And yes! God is speaking to you! You might say no!, it can't be, but God says rise up, show up and act up. I'm with you.

- You might say: I'm not skilled or trained? Well we will train you, you're enlisted if you're the underdog.
- Listen to the song by Lindell Cooley: "Will you ride with me?" Jesus is asking? Will you respond?

CONCLUSION
Confess with me the following and say it aloud.
I'm not an underdog! Yes! I'm weak! Yes I don't have as much money, all the talents and all the opportunities that "Top Dogs" have, but by the grace of God, because I've acknowledge my weaknesses God will pitch a tent of His power over my weaknesses, and Gods strength will be made perfect in my life!
