“Mourning & Mentoring"
(Esther 4:1-17)

In this lesson we'll consider the response of the Jewish people to Haman's actions.
1. The Jew's Reaction.

Esther 4:1-7

1. The Jew's Reaction.
It included 4 important things:
Sackcloth & ashes are outward signs of inward turmoil or repentance.
Fasting is a voluntary abstinence from food and fluids for spiritual reasons.
Weeping is a visible sign of mourning.
Wailing is an audible sign of mourning.
