GRACE: GOD’S DIVINE EMPOWERMENT
When you think about the grace of God, how would you define it?
A few years ago, there was a nation-wide survey done in which over 5,000 born again Christians were polled and asked to give their definition of the grace of God.
Most said that grace was defined as: salvation, a free gift, and forgiveness of sins. If you thought those same things, you would be absolutely right.
Those are all good working definitions of God’s grace, but did you know grace is also God’s divine empowerment?

God literally defines grace as His power. Only 2% who took the nation-wide poll defined grace as God’s divine empowerment. That means that 98% of the people had no clue that grace was power – therefore it can easily be assumed that they were not operating in that power either.
The bible says in Hosea 4:6 (NKJV), “...people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” If we do not know the power in which we possess, we will never utilize it for the purpose it was designed to carry out. Grace is when God empowers us to do His work on this earth in a way that we could not do it without His empowerment.
Grace is about the completing of the work that God desires to do in us.

Peter calls grace divine power. If we are going to live a successful life for Christ, it will take God’s divine power to do so.
GRACE FOR YOUR PLACE
Everyone must have grace for their place.
GRACE FOR YOUR PLACE
Everyone must have grace for their place.
Many Christians today are living in their own natural ability, when in reality; grace empowers us to go beyond our natural ability. Your family needs you operating in God’s ability rather than your own ability. (Relationships, health, finances, church) God has called you to live extraordinarily. Living extraordinarily means to go beyond the norm, beyond the usual – the opposite of living normal – the breakout of the status quo.
There is no way that you can live an extraordinary life except through the grace of God.
HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT
Mercy and grace – although they work together – are different.
Mercy is: not receiving something that you do deserve.
Grace is: receiving something that you don’t deserve.

(AMPC) ...grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
God knows what you need before you need it. His grace is available and His timing is perfect.

Whatever you are doing right now in life, determine not to continue without the divine empowerment that comes through God’s grace. What lies ahead of you, God will empower you to overcome and achieve.
Grace works best wherever there is weakness. Allow your weakness to receive divine empowerment – and watch God take you places on His grace can take you.
