Everyone could use some good news and God's Word really is Good News. The scriptures aren't just a collection of stories or a book we have to make sure we tote around to church or bible studies. God's Word is for us, for others and ultimately to show and share the glory of God. Since there's that much hope and healing, direction and instruction in it, it's imperative that we read it. It's almost like this book, these scriptures, are crying out to you and to me saying "Read Me!"

Super Bowl PARTY
We're going to have some fun doing a Super Bowl Party at church.
Here's the deal
1) Bring your favorite game day foods/snacks to share with others
2) Bring your friends
3) If you want to enter the Chicken Wing Contest, bring at least three dozen chicken wings for the judges (and others to try)
4) If you want to win our sports contest, come prepared to shoot basketballs and win knockout
Prizes for winners. It all starts at 4:30 and you're encouraged to stay for the game at 6:30 but you aren't required!
