At Dayspring Community Church of the Nazarene we want you to feel like you’re at home here - kind of like you’ve always been here. But, just in case this is your first time here there are a few things we’d like to share with you.
First, we think of ourselves as a family of diverse people from different stories, ages, and cultures.
Second, our mission is to help people live like Christ in their homes and communities and you’re welcome to join us.
Today, we’ll sing together, pray together, and share in God’s word as we seek to become more like Jesus. We invite you to join in the worship with us!
And finally, while you’re here, we’d love to connect with you and answer questions you might have or help you get connected in a group or ministry team. After worship, feel free to stop by the Welcome Center in the foyer and we’ll meet you there!

Golden Anniversary Party - Today after service
Linda and Byron Cox are celebrating 50 years of marriage, and they’d like us all to join the party. Stick around for a potluck lunch after service this morning to celebrate and fellowship.
Membership Class - Sat., Feb. 3rd @9am
If you’ve decided to make Dayspring your home, we couldn’t be more excited and we’d love to make that decision official. Join us for a couple of hours to take a more in-depth look at our beliefs, and how we fit into the global Church of the Nazarene. We’ll introduce new members on Sunday the 18th!
Super Bowl Chili Cook-off - Sun., Feb. 4th @5:30pm
Sign up in the foyer if you’d like to compete in the chili cook-off, we will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Others please bring something else to share (Last names: A-O side dish; N-Z dessert). We are also using this event to stock the pantry, so please bring a canned good to donate!
Baptism Service - Sun., Feb. 11th
The commitment to follow Christ is meant to be celebrated and shared with the greater church body. Please speak with one of our staff members if you have made that decision, or are considering, and would like to take the next step of baptism.
Alabaster Collection - Sun., Feb. 18th
We’ll be collecting Alabaster offerings on Feb. 18th. Store up all that loose change you found cleaning for Christmas parties, and give it to the work of building churches worldwide.

One of the fastest ways to share prayer requests is by sending us a text message to (614)321-7905. One way to make sure you have that number ready is to program it into your contacts on your phone. That way, the next time you need to send a prayer request in the moment you’ll be ready.
