This week we will be looking at truth. In today’s world truth is becoming more and more subjective. It is becoming more common for people to define their own truths based on their own perceptions. The world will tell you that what is true for you may not be true for someone else. While this may be the case in some limited ways, I fear that it has been taken to a whole new level. The prevailing philosophy seems to be that we as individuals define what is true. I am here to tell you that truth is truth period. I believe that part of the problem is that most people try to define their truth intellectually, not through experience. It is one thing to know and understand a thing intellectually and another thing entirely to experience it. This goes to the heart of the matter of our individual relationships with Jesus. Is our knowledge intellectual? Or is it something we have experienced firsthand? True and enduring faith is best fostered through actually experiencing God. It is one thing to know God loves you and something entirely different to experience it. I believe that the love, joy, peace, etc... that we have been discussing really only comes when we EXPERIENCE God. Jesus is the truth and He came that we might experience Him, not only learn about Him. This is one of the ways Christianity is different than all of the other religions. Emmanuel, God with us. Emmanuel, God for us. Emmanuel, God experienced by us. This week I pray that we experience God in ways we never have before! God bless you!

The Lord bless you this week and I pray you begin to experience Gods truth in your life. Remember, there are no UN-Christ like qualities in the Father! The Lord bless you and keep you! I will be praying for us all this week.
