Who are we?

1.We are sinners saved by Grace Eph 2:8-9
2.We are God’s Chosen People. I Pet 2:9-9
3.We are God’s Specially called people. II Cor 5:20
4.We are God’s Specially gifted people.

True Humility Puts Others First

The example of Jesus

1.He lowered Himself to serve. John 13:3-5
2.He gave up what He deserved to save us. Phil 2:3-8

How do we put others first

1.Take time to learn the needs of others
2.Think of others more and ourselves less.
3.Ask how can I serve instead of how can I get ahead

True Humility will lead to reward

The Example of Christ.

1.He was Exalted.
a) He was returned to His previous glory. John 17:1-5

b)He became the Savior of the World

True Humility will lead to reward

What does this mean for us?

1.God promises to exalt the humble. Matt 23:11-12, James 4:6

2.He promises to dwell with Humble Isa 57:15

*So What do we need to do?

1.Learn and remember who you are.

2.Actively seek ways to put others first.

3.Trust God to keep His word as we Humble ourselves.
