Today's scriptures: 2nd Timothy 4:1-8, 1 Corinthians 9:24, Hebrews 12:1-2, Proverbs 24:16
Definitions:
Finish- τελέω, to bring about, complete, fulfil, accomplish, hence, to end, to perfect.
Race- the course that one follows in a race. (dromos)
-Finishing strong means we accomplish what God intended for our lives when He created us.
-We must give greater consideration to what God intends for
-Whenever we enter into something, it’s God’s divine will that we complete, fulfill and accomplish the task with Him in mind.
3 Steps In Finishing Strong
Step 1. Run Your Race v. 5
-Hebrews 12:1 “Run the with endurance the race that is set before us.”
Step 2. Know Your Finish Line v. 6
-1 Corinthians 9:24 “Run in such a way to obtain the prize.”
Step 3. Start With The Finish In Mind
Summary:
“Lean at the tape and run through the line.”
