In The Waiting - Week 1
December is the time of year where everyone, regardless of faith, comes across the reminder that a baby was born who would become the savior of the world. His name is Jesus. Jesus made a promise that one day He would return. It's what we do between the time He came as a baby and the time he will return as ruler of all that we must focus on - in the waiting.

Jesus gave us a calling for the time between His first coming and His second. We have a mission during the waiting. A great commission.
“Waiting is our destiny as creatures who cannot bring about what they hope for; we wait in darkness for a flame we cannot light. We wait in fear for a happy ending that we cannot write. We wait for “not yet” that feels like “not ever.” Waiting is the hardest work of HOPE.” Lewis Smedes
We're willing to wait for what we deem worth the wait.
God's will is worth waiting for.
When you find yourself in the waiting, don't be afraid. Trust God.
Sometimes we have to change OUR plans to line up with GOD'S plans.
Christmas is a reminder of the hope of Jesus. "The thrill of hope the weary world rejoices for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.”
