We all make investments. Jesus challenges us to invest where rust won't destroy and where our joy will compound, expand and grow. Invest our temporal resources in His eternal good. It's there our heart will experience great joy.

Money can bring great DELIGHT.
Money can also bring great DEFLATION.
Money isn’t a truly emotion causing thing. It has no emotions.
But in interacting/dealing with it – it can stir all kinds of emotions, can’t it?!
Some people ask – WHY do we talk about money every year?
Well, because you and I have to deal with money every day!
Because Jesus knows that money - how we manage it & interact with it, can create an opportunity for growth & transformational impact like little else. Not just the impact to do great good in the world; but opportunity for transformational growth within our own soul & heart.
The greatest biblical truth as it comes to resources is:
God isn’t trying to get something FROM YOU, God desires something FOR YOU.
Psalms 24:1 NIV
God is ultimately the OWNER, we're the managers of our resources (time, talent, treasure). We're to be good stewards.

Jesus is saying: Don’t store up treasure on earth, not because they’re bad – but because they won’t last!

It’s ALL temporal. Jesus is challenging us to make sure we’re investing in Eternal things! Invest where there is no time-limit, no fading, no theft, no rust, no entropy. We can invest where there is no expiration date - in the things of God...

Money is an indicator of what matters to you and to me. Our hearts will always move toward where we invest our treasure. Our hearts will automatically care about what and where our money goes. So, if we invest in the things of this world only or mostly – then our hearts will care about the things of this world mostly or only.

Give your Temporal dollars to ETERNAL INVESTMENTS First.
Think: Priority and Percentage, then just START.
