28...But those who marry will face many troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this.
The myth of singleness:
• I feel lonely, and if I’m not single, I won’t feel lonely anymore.
• I’m sexually frustrated and, If I’m not single, I won’t feel sexually frustrated anymore.
• I feel isolated, and if I’m not single, I won’t feel isolated anymore.
Advice to the singles:
• Thank God for the gift of singleness.
• Do all you can to grow in godliness.
• “Fix your eyes” on Jesus.
• Pursue His call in your life.
Advice to the married:
• Stop thinking of singleness as 2nd best.
• Our family is the whole church.
• Make your relationship with God and Jesus your 1st relational priority.

Next Week: I don’t know exactly what I pictured marriage would be like, but this isn’t it. There are times I don’t wanna be married to this person. Am I wrong for feeling this way? What do I do with these feelings? Am I doomed to choose between being trapped in an unfulfilling relationship or getting a divorce?
