North Platte Berean Church
Our Culture Views God As…
In this single-week message, Pastor Tyce Jensen (Lead Pastor of Broken Bow Berean Bible Church) helps us understand how a right view of God leads us to a right understanding of ourselves and gives us purpose in the spot where we find ourselves today.

Talk About It

The main point of Genesis 1 & 2 is to answer…

1) Who is incharge?

2) Why does man exist?

If God created everything, He owns everything.
So who is this God? (Genesis 1:1)

1) God is eternal. God was not created.

2) God is powerful. God created the universe simply by speaking.

3) God is self-sufficient.

God was not lonely, and you can never pay Him back.

He doesn’t need you.
Why does man exist? Genesis 1:26-31

Image of God = Man is created to be in relationship, like God is.

Genesis 2:15- “work it” = literally “serve.”

Man is meant to serve God by worshipfullyworking.

Man is created to gentlyrule the earth alongside God.

We were created to be kings and queens ruling in relationship with God the High King.
