FALL CHURCH MAINTENANCE
As the seasons change, there are some items around our church that require our attention. All the (now dead) flowers outside need to be removed, the A/C units need to be stored away for the winter, the platform needs to be de-cluttered and the storage sheds need to be organized. We would appreciate any help that you could offer. There is a sign up sheet on the women’s table in the upper foyer. Please indicate which area you are able to give some assistance.
To Darlene Fearson and everyone who participated and worked many hours for a wonderful Fall Festival. Hours of work and preparation went into this outreach event and many young people and parents were able to participate. Many gospel tracts and much love was extended to all who attended.
PASTORAL THANK YOU!
Anna & I would like to join Pastor Keith & Lynette and Pastor Luis & Edith in extending our thanks and appreciation to our Dover Assembly family, Paul Jones, Gil Tunney and the whole church for a wonderful show of love towards each of us. It is a joy and privilege to minister to our church family. We love you very much! And to Michelle and the R.O.C.K. kids for their song and “commentary” and Brad for the videos. We love you all!
Is fast approaching Sat. Dec and we need your help in planning our annual dinner. Please sign up in the lower foyer if you can help in any way.
Tuesday, Nov. 7, is election day. Even though this is an off-year election, several judges are on the ballot. There is a list of the judges who are pro-life on the table by the mailboxes. Please take one as you leave today and remember to vote!
James 4:17 - NLT
Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.
Last week, Gil Tunney talked about what a pastor is and why they should be appreciated.
