Persecution comes to the Church
Persecution is a mark of ministry.
But, persecution leads to spiritual growth. (vs. 4)

Disciples point people to Jesus
This is a defining moment for Peter (remember, he denied Jesus 3 times).
As disciples, we must always be ready to give answer for the hope we have.

Peter and John were unschooled and ordinary men
God uses ordinary men and women, like you and me, to change the world.
But, we must decide whether we will obey God or obey men.

The Church prays for boldness
Notice the church does not pray for protection, but for boldness.
And, they pray for God to do miracles.

God’s Movement continues because of Prayer and dedicated Disciples
The Church loved one another
The Church prayed boldly for God to use them
The Church gave generously, so lives would be transformed for Christ.
We are God’s Church today: “A people of God reaching out, growing up, giving all.”

God’s Church is the greatest movement in history. God’s Church is unstoppable, and now the generations come to us. We are a part of this amazing story of redemption and grace that the Author of Life is writing. As His people, we are called to be bold and to pray passionately and fervently for God to transform this world – one life at a time. We must be willing to invest our lives in Christ and His Church. God is at work. Will we join Him?
