Locations & Times

Monday 12:00 AM

This week we will be looking at Sola Gratia, or Grace Alone. This is the concept that it is God’s grace alone that saves you, there is nothing that you can personally do to earn your salvation. In fact the very definition of grace here is unmerited favor, or favor that you did not earn. This is one of the founding principles on which our faith is built.
We place all our hope and faith on the fact that Christ payed the price for our sins, we did nothing to earn our salvation. This fits in perfectly with the theme of God’s love for us that we have been studying. It is God’s love for us that prompts Him to extend this wonderful all-encompassing unmerited and absolute grace!

My prayer for us this week is that we spend some time each day contemplating the magnificence of what God has done for us here through Christ. What great love must He have for us to extend forgiveness to us on this grand of a scale! I hope that this will bring us to a better understanding of His love for us, and bring us into a deeper and more personal relationship with Him. The Lord bless you and keep you, I will be praying for all of us!
Monday
Grace is a gift
● This is a GREAT memory verse, if you haven’t already try to memorize it.
● Why is it important that grace be a gift?
● If we could earn our grace, do you think we would be able to?
● If grace were something that could be earned, then could it also be lost?
● What kind of feelings or false narratives do these verses challenge?
● How much love is required to extend this kind of grace?
● Spend the rest of your day secure in the knowledge that you have received the full extent of Gods grace.

Tuesday
Grace abounds
● What is Gods response to sin in our lives?
● Can we “out sin” grace?
● What should our response to this outpouring of love and grace be?
● Does knowledge of Gods grace cause you to ignore the sin in your life? Or does it inspire you to know and be near Him more?
● The key to conquering sin is not to “try harder” but to become more like Christ.
Wednesday
Grace is sufficient
● Have you ever felt that perhaps you have crossed the line with God?
● How does this verse address those feelings?
● How can Gods strength be perfected in your weakness?
● How would you apply this in your daily life?
● Spend some time with God focusing on His perfect strength within you.
Thursday
Grace justifies
● When fear and doubt of your worthiness enter your mind, this is where you go.
● Gods grace guarantees that we are wholly justified in His sight.
● Remember that we are justified because Jesus is justified, and He has paid our price.
● What has Gods grace made us heirs of?
● Spend some time with God truly thinking of Him as your perfect loving father.
Friday
Grace helps
● How can grace help you in your time of need?
● Have you ever considered the fact that Jesus sympathizes with you?
● How can we gain more confidence in the “throne of grace”?
● What is the best way to “draw near” to God?
● Spend some time today drawing as near to God as you can.
Saturday
Grace is given
● How much grace have we received?
● What themes in this passage echo what we have already looked at?
● Have you ever considered the measure of Christs gift?
● The only way to experience and extend the kind of grace that Christ has is to become more like Christ.
● The only way to become more like Christ is to spend a lot of time with Him.
● Spend the rest of your day with Jesus, big moments, little moments, every moment. Try to visualize Him with you throughout your day.
Sunday
Grace is a stewardship
● How can we be good stewards of Gods grace?
● Spend some time today extending grace to those around you.
● Can we extend perfect grace without experiencing it?
● How can we make grace a part of our “DNA”?
● Does knowledge of Gods grace lift any weights from you?
● Could sharing His grace do the same for others?
The Lord bless you this week and I pray you experience and radiate His grace!
