The greatest worship we can offer God is to offer ourselves

More worship takes place Monday through Saturday
"If you do not worship God seven days a week, you do not worship Him one day a week. There is no such thing known in heaven as Sunday worship unless it is accompanied by Monday worship and Tuesday worship and so on." A.W. Tozer

So, we should endeavor to have the living of our lives be a constant offering of worship.
Micah 6:8 – “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”
True worship must include all of our life

True worship must influence all that we do

What God desires is you.
Psalms 110:3 “Your people will volunteer freely (will be freewill offerings) in the day of Your power; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?.”
1. There is No Worship without Sacrifice
“So,” says Paul, “take your body. Take all the tasks you do each day. Take the ordinary work of the home, the office, the workshop, the garden, the classroom, the laundry, the farm, and offer all that as an act of worship to God. This is your spiritual worship. This is the true worship you should offer.” Ian Malins (Come Let Us Worship)
In View of God's Mercies

Present = to place ourselves at God’s disposal
Romans 6:13 – “Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.”

Romans 6:16 – “Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?"

“There is actually only one thing you can dedicate to God, and that is your right to yourself.” Oswald Chambers/My Utmost for His Highest
Our Bodies

1 Thessalonians 5:23 – “Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

“So,” Paul says, “take your body; take all the tasks that you have to do every day; take the ordinary work of the shop, the factory, the shipyard, the mine; and offer all that as an act of worship to God.” William Barclay
Living Sacrifice

Old Testament sacrifices were over/Christ is now our Passover Lamb

A new order of sacrifice arrived - Now we give ourselves
Reasonable or spiritual Worship

Worship is being transformed through the renovation of our thought and intellect.

“No worship is pleasing to God which is purely inward, abstract and mystical; it must express itself in concrete acts of service performed by our bodies.” John Stott
2. How Do We Present Ourselves?

Present all that you are

Love the Lord your God with your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30
Present all that we own

Both riches and honor come from You. But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given You.” 1 Chronicles 29:12, 14

What do you have that God hasn't given you?” 1 Corinthians 4:7

Offer the first part

Give generously to God's work

Use the rest wisely
Present all that you do

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23

This means there is no real difference between “Christian work” and “secular work”.
Present Physical Acts of Worship

To serve Christ is to worship Christ

To serve God’s people is to serve Christ

To be an emissary of the gospel is to serve and worship Christ

You give them something to eat.”
Worship can be a lifestyle that reflects our awareness of God's influence in our lives. If we are to give God the true worship He deserves, we must determine to conduct ourselves in a manner that is becoming to our calling as the people of God. If we adopt a focus of worship in our lifestyle, it will help to reflect the involvement of God in our everyday affairs.
