"Not My Will, But God's" Core 43
A. You can know God’s will…
1. You can know God’s will, but to know it you must first surrender.
2. You can know God’s will, but to know it you can’t conform to the world’s standard.
3. You can know God’s will, but to know it you must be transformed in your heart and mind.
4. You can know God’s will, but to know it you must be able to discern what it is.
B. God’s will is shown in His Word…
“If you are ignorant of God's Word, you will always be ignorant of God's will.” -Billy Graham
1. God has a plan for His will to be seen in us.
2. God's will is that you would be a grateful follower.
3. God’s will is for your life to be honorable.
4. God’s will is for all to be saved.
5. Obedience to God’s will gives eternal life.
6. Don’t give up in following God’s will.
7. Sometimes God’s will may bring suffering.
C. God’s will is known when you have the
mind of Christ…

1. Having the mind of Christ is learning to be like Him.
2. Having the mind of Christ comes by His Spirit in you.
3. Having the mind of Christ may be contrary to the world’s thinking.
4. Having the mind of Christ is possible.
D. God’s will is known when you are willing
to follow the will of God…
to follow the will of God…
“Our difficulty is not that we don't know God's will. Our discomfort comes from the fact that we do know His will, but we do not want to do it.” Henry Blackaby
1. We must know God’s Word to know His will.
2. We must apply the Word of God to our lives.
3. We must live out the Word of God to find the will of God. 95% of your actions is spillover from your mind!

4. God will equip you with all you need to fulfill His will.
