The Blessing is the act of someone who blesses.
The BLESSING is the impartation of the supernatural power of God, into a human life by the spoken word of God.

You don't automatically get the blessing because your saved.

You must choose to be a blessing.

We are not blessed because we have stuff, we are blessed because our stuff doesn't have us.

The blessing isn't stuff.

The stuff can become a curse if it has you.

You have to choose the blessing or the curse will choose you.

A curse is a prayer for harm to befall someone or something.

To invoke evil or misfortune upon;

Satan has targeted you and your family for evil.

Jesus came to remove the curse.

Galatians 3:13-14
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

When Jesus died on the cross He removed the power of the curse.

Adam sinned and open the door to the devil, mankind was brought under the dominion and control of all that was a part of the curse.

Genesis 3:9-21
9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"
10 So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself."
11 And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?"
12 Then the man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
13 And the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
14 So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."
16 To the woman He said: "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you."
17 Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life.
18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field.
19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return."
20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

Many of Gods people are in enduring curses when they should be living in Gods blessing.

Deuteronomy 28:15-19
15 "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
16 "Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.
17 "Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
18 "Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
19 "Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.

Deuteronomy 38-40
38 "You shall carry much seed out to the field but gather little in, for the locust shall consume it.
39 "You shall plant vineyards and tend them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.
40 "You shall have olive trees throughout all your territory, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil; for your olives shall drop off.

Poverty is a curse not a blessing!

Blessings and curses are both vehicles of supernatural power.

There is a curse that is trying to come down on us either through DNA, by something that has happened to us or by something that we allow in our lives!

There are 3 ways a curse can come on someone's life.

1. A curse can be inherited.

Generational curses can be handed down for 3 generations.

2. A curse can come by something that happens to you.

By words others have spoke, by living in a cursed world.

3. A curse can come by something that we have done.

We can open doors to the curse or the demonic world by allowing demonic things to be in our lives.

By involving our lives in a religious cult.

The power of every curse has been dealt with at the cross when Jesus was crucified.

Jesus became a curse for us.

You and I have to learn to operate in the finished work of the cross.

Romans 4:16-17
16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,17 (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations") in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Everything that Grace makes available to us is a finished work at Calvary.

Salvation If free for all.

It is a choice!
It is a choice!
It is a choice!

Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

We must go after what has been made available.

Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

Romans 5:1-2
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

We are saved by grace but we access it through faith.

1 Timothy 6:7-11
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.

Pursue is a key word in this verse.

1. To follow in an effort to overtake or capture; chase:

2. To strive to gain or accomplish

Hebrews 4:1-3
1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.
2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: "So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest,' " although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Obedience is the formula for success and prosperity.

Proverbs 4:20-23
20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

These 3 verses of scripture contain four steps to removing the curse and walking in the God kind of life that produces the Blessing.

1. It is our responsibility to find the Covenant principles and instruction that will bring success to every area of our lives.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

2. We need to tend to that instruction by applying corresponding actions to it.

This is not name it and claim it.

This is name it and live with unwavering convictions.

3. We need to keep our eyes steadfast on what God says our actions will produce.

We can't listen to what others are saying.

We can't let our circumstances determine our actions.

4. We need to enshrine His words in our heart as something that is Holy, rather than something to be trampled under foot by the swine.

If God said it, He will do it.
