Last week we looked at a number of things that love never does. This week we will be looking at some things that love ALWAYS does. When I speak of love here I am of course referring to the perfect love that God has for us, not what we as human beings normally refer to as love. Hopefully if you used this guide last week you have been beginning to piece together the vast differences between the love of God and the love we have experienced from other people. I know that the love I have for my wife, children, friends, etc. is great, but I am also fully aware that it pales in comparison to the love that God has for each and every one of us! I don’t know about the rest of you, but this brings me great comfort.

As we look at these verses that Casey used in his sermon let's once again challenge false narratives we may have about Gods love for us. Does knowledge of Gods love change the way we live our lives? Is knowledge alone enough to change our lives and how we interact both with God and other people? Or do we need to experience it first hand? This week let's pray for each other to gain an experiential knowledge of Gods love for us! The Lord Bless You and Keep You, I will be praying for you!

Love is always... Patient
● Do you ever feel like God might just give up on you?
● How does it feel to know that He never will?
● Can you imagine what perfect patience might look like?
● Does knowledge of Gods patience change your outlook on life?
● Have you ever experienced great patience from someone else?
● If so, how did it make you feel?

Love is always... Kind
● Have you ever attached kindness to God as one of His defining attributes?
● In a world largely void of kindness, how do you think people would react to us if we modeled the kindness of God?
● Read the scripture and remember a time you were a bruised reed or dimly burning wick.
● How does it feel to realize you were receiving Gods kindness at that very moment?

Love always... Rejoices in Truth
● Did you know God rejoices over you?
● Have you ever loved someone so much you rejoiced over their triumphs?
● God rejoices over you every time you do anything that is true and good
● Does this create motivation in your heart?
● We know we cannot earn Gods favor, but it feels good to know that when we grow as Christians God rejoices!

Love always... Bears all things
● This means that we always have Gods protection
● This does not mean we cannot be harmed, but that we are shielded from condemnation and every form of evil.
● Perfect love protects us from our own sin
● Does this knowledge bring you peace?

Love always... Believes
● God believes in you because He knows the final product
● Do you understand the power of belief?
● Now apply that to Gods belief in you!
● Remember that God believes in you even when you don't believe in yourself

Love always... Hopes
● This is not a futile hope, but a hope based on Gods own confidence
● This is difficult to understand because human hopes can fail
● Fortunately for us Gods hopes cannot
● Gods hope is based on the fact that you belong to Him, and He knows He cannot fail

Love always... Endures
● God will never leave you nor forsake you
● There is nothing you can do to change the way God feels about you
● This is the most comforting knowledge of all! You can't mess it up!
● Remember these passages and refer to them when you or others question the security of your salvation
● Remember, Love NEVER fails!
