Remember to Pray…that Emily C. will make progress in her recovery from injuries sustained in a car accident on July 6…for Hunter C. as he continues to recover from his injuries…that Carole Z. will continue her recovery from eye surgery even as she prepares for surgery on her other eye on August 3…for Darlene R. as doctors continue to check her for blood clots in her arm…for our residents in nursing care and assisted living facilities…for church and school leadership as they continue to make preparations for the fall…for our nation and its leaders……for our missionaries serving overseas.

Thank You to all who prayed for me over the past weeks as I’ve awaited word test results regarding my arm. Please continue to pray that these issues will be resolved, for wisdom to understand what is actually happening and for a solution on how to proceed.

Blessing of the Backpacks: All of our DCC students (preschool-high school, home school and public school) are invited to bring their backpacks with them to the worship service on Sunday, August 16 as we seek God’s blessing up them (the students, not the backpacks!) as they enter into the new school year.)

Once you have the app downloaded, click "More," then "Events." Search for "Dewey Community Church" and ours will show up. When you have the bulletin open, be sure to click "Save Event" so you can access it in the future. The app enables you to save notes in the bulletin, highlight Bible passages, and more. Never worry about misplacing your bulletin again!
