PREVENTING PARTIALITY
1. Value People
Philippians 2:3 NIV “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”
1 Samuel 16:7 NLT “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Valuing people is not about their worth to you but about their worth to God.
2. Accept People
Romans 2:11 NLT “For God does not show favoritism.”
3. Forgive People
Matthew 6:14 NLT “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.”
4. GetClose to People.
Luke 6:38 NLT “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
Luke 6:37-38 NLT “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
