The Truths Jesus Gives Us to Persevere/Pray Through

1. God’s will is always good

Will not God give justice to His elect. (Luke 18:7)

He will give justice to them. (Luke 18:8)

2. God’s timing is always perfect

Will He delay long? (Luke 18:7)

He will give justice speedily. (Luke 18:8)

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. (2 Peter 3:9, ESV)

3. God’s perspective is always eternal

When the Son of Man comes. (Luke 18:8)

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. (2 Corinthians 4:17, ESV)
