INTRODUCTION:

God’s faithfulness is absolute reliability.
It refers to His steadfastness, loyal love toward His people.
It refers to the fact that He is trustworthy, constant and true.
God is faithful in keeping His promises and is therefore worthy of trust.
Faithfulness is an attribute of God.
God is always faithful to His Word.
God never breaks His promises.

GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD

Psalms 119:89-90 – For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

His Word is settled in heaven.

Deut. 7:9 – Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

He is faithful to a thousand generations.

Jeremiah 1:12 – Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

He will hasten His Word to perform it.

GOD IS FAITHFUL TO KEEP HIS PROMISES

II Peter 1:4 – Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Exceeding great and precious promises.

Hebrews 11:11 – Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Judged Him faithful who had promised.

Hebrews 10:23 – Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;

He who promised is faithful.


GOD IS FAITHFUL TO KEEP US

I Corinthians 10:13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

He makes a way of escape.

II Thess. 3:3 – But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
He will keep us from evil.

II Peter 2:9 – The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Rescue the godly from temptation.
