1 - The King that's COMMUNICATING. (19:10)

"And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God!"

Exo 20:3-5 NKJV - "You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.."
Matt 4:8-10 NKJV - "Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

2 - The King that's COMING. (19:11-13)

"11 Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God."

His ARRIVAL -
-"Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse."
-This is the moment we have all been waiting for, and for which we have been praying for: Mt 6; "Hosanna"; OT Proph Ps. 24; Dan 2; Dan 7:13)
His NAMES -
"And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True.."
-2 Tim 2:13 - Jesus is always Faithful!
-John 1:14; 14:6 - Jesus is the Essential Truth!
-Study the Names of Christ, and the Titles of the LORD!!

"..He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.."
-Deut 29:29 - The Lord chooses to not reveal some things!
-In the Kingdom of Heaven, we will continue to LEARN and GROW in our knowledge of the Lord, His character, and His awesomeness!

"..His name is called The Word of God.."
-John 1:1-3 - This is the Greek word "Logos" and understood to be the Mind of God, or the Reasoning Principle behind all of physical reality.
-Heb 4:12 and Heb 1:2 show us that there is a very intimate and mystical connection between the WRITTEN Word of God, the SPOKEN Word of God, and the LIVING Word of God - Jesus Christ! (Isa 55)

"..He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS"
-There have been many noteworthy and inspiring kings, down thru human history: King Richard of England; King Arthur of France; King Leonidas of Greece.... but ultimately they all fall short.
-Only Jesus Christ will be the Perfect King over all the earth, and the Supreme Lord over the children of men. (Read Zech 14:1-9)

His ACTIONS -
"..in righteousness He judges and makes war.."
-The Lord is a Man of War (Exo 15) and detests wickedness (Ps.5) and evil. Here we see the full fury of His wrath unleashed upon His enemies.
-GOD is gracious and merciful...but also Jealous and Wrathful!
-Biblically, there is such a thing as a "Righteous War" and even "Righteous Killing" when evil and wickedness present a clear and present danger to innocent bystanders. (Hitler; Saddam; Osama; VA driver) Read Rev 19 and Rom 13...

"..He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood.."
-This is the blood of His enemies. No longer is Jesus portrayed as a Lamb, but rather a LION. He is no longer just the Savior, but also the CONQUERER. Jesus is no longer a Victim on a cross, but now He is the VICTOR on a horse of war, destroying His enemies in power and glory.

3 - The King that's CONQUERING. (19:14-16)

"14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

His ARMY - "And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses."
-These are not angels, but rather the SOLDIER SAINTS of the Church. Do you see yourself like this??
-2 Tim 2...2 Cor 10 ...Eph 6

His WEAPON - "Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations."
-This is obviously the Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit.
-Eph 6 ...Heb 4:12 ...Matt 4
-Do YOU use the Word in your daily battles and temptations??

His RULE - "And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron."
-This is the iron clad justice that will dominate the Kingdom Age on earth! Swift destruction and strict punishment for those who commit evil.
-Psalm 2:8-9 ...Rev 2:26-28

His WRATH - "He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."
-This will be the full outcome and result of EVIL and WICKEDNESS that opposes Jesus and rejects Christ: Death!! (Rom 3:23; Eze 18:20)
