Hebrews 2:1
So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.

If we don’t align ourselves properly, we will drift away.

Ephesians 5:15-16
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

Intentionality is the opposite of drift.

Philippians 3:13
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

People don’t drift from God because of bad intentions, it’s because of no intentions.

Hebrews 6:19
This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.
