COME THOU FOUNT, COME THOU KING

Come, Thou Fount of ev’ry blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise:
Teach me some melodious sonnet, Sung by flaming tongues above;
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it, Mount of Thy redeeming love.

Come Thou Fount, come, Thou King,
Come, Thou precious Prince of Peace.
Hear Your bride, to You we sing.
Come, Thou Fount of our blessing.

I was lost in utter darkness ‘Til You came and rescued me.
I was bound by all my sin when Your love came and set me free.
Now my soul can sing a new song, Now my heart has found a home.
Now Your grace is always with me And I’ll never be alone.

Come Thou Fount, come, Thou King,
Come, Thou precious Prince of Peace.
Hear Your bride, to You we sing.
Come, Thou Fount of our blessing.

O to grace how great a debtor Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, Bind my wand’ring heart to Thee:
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, Lord, take and seal it; Seal it for Thy courts above.

Come Thou Fount, come, Thou King,
Come, Thou precious Prince of Peace.
Hear Your bride, to You we sing.
Come, Thou Fount of our blessing.

Scripture Reading - Ephesians 1:3-14

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

GLORIOUS DAY

I was buried beneath my shame.
Who could carry all that weight?
It was my tomb, till I met You.

I was breathing but not alive.
All my failure I tried to hide.
It was my tomb, till I met You.

You called my name, and I ran out of that grave.
Out of the darkness, into Your glorious day.
You called my name, and I ran out of that grave.
Out of the darkness, into Your glorious day.

Now Your mercy has saved my soul.
Now Your freedom is all that I know.
The old made new, Jesus, when I met You

When you called my name, and I ran out of that grave.
Out of the darkness, into Your glorious day.
You called my name, and I ran out of that grave.
Out of the darkness, into Your glorious day.

I needed rescue, my sin was heavy.
But chains break at the weight of Your glory.
I needed shelter, I was an orphan.
Now You call me a citizen of heaven.
When I was broken, You were my healing.
Now Your love is the air that I’m breathing.
I have a future, my eyes are open.
‘Cause when You called my name,

I ran out of that grave.
Out of the darkness, into Your glorious day.
You called my name, and I ran out of that grave.
Out of the darkness, into Your glorious day.

OPEN OUR EYES, LORD

Open our eyes, Lord,
We want to see Jesus,
To reach out and touch Him,
And say that we love Him.
Open our ears, Lord,
And help us to listen,
Open our eyes, Lord,
We want to see Jesus.

CONCLUSION

IN CHRIST ALONE (MY HOPE IS FOUND)

In Christ alone my hope is found;
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This Cornerstone, this solid ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled when strivings cease;
My Comforter, my All in All;
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone, who took on flesh;
Fullness of God in helpless babe.
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save;
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied;
For ev’ry sin on Him was laid;
Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay;
Light of the world by darkness slain.
Then bursting forth in glorious day,
Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me;
For I am His and He is mine,
Bought with the precious blood of Christ!

No guilt in life, no fear in death;
This is the power of Christ in me.
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny.
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand;
‘Til He returns or calls me home,
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand!
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand!
