1. Society is identifying the problem of a generation that is not meeting the marks of adulthood even in their late twenties.
2. In the church, we are facing the same problem.

3. What are the signs or Biblical Marks of Maturity

1. Too many variations of what is believed are the marks of spiritual maturity in contemporary books.
2. Paul had something specific in mind

1. 1 Cor. 3:1-3

3. Paul, along with another apostle, identifies the outstanding features of a Christian Life /Marks of Maturity as - Faith, Love Hope.
4. 6 times it is used throughout the New Testament

1. Col. 1:3,4, 5 – All three found
2. 1 Cor. 13:13 – Missing one, Love
3. Eph. 1:15-16, 18 – Missing one, Hope
4. 1 Peter 1:21-22 – All three found
5. Heb. 10: 22-24 – All three encouraged
6. 1 Thess. 5:8 – All three encouraged
7. 1 Thess. 1:3 – All three found
