VBS 2017 - MIGHTY FORTRESS – VBS IS JUST 3 WEEKS AWAY – Our Annual Vacation Bible School is July 17th- 21st from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Our theme is Kings in the Bible and Jesus being the One King who has the Victory! BURGERS AND DOGS! On July 9th at 1:00 p.m. there will be a picnic in the pavilion. All food and beverages will be provided. You may stay after the later service and visit with one another until chow time. This is a great opportunity to get to know more of our church family. Please sign up in the lobby to help us get a head count for planning purposes!
A NEW CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS CLASS: “START RIGHT” will begin on Sunday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. in Room 14. We’ll be discussing the fundamentals of our walk with Jesus including salvation, our battle with the enemy, and other topics applicable to our daily lives. Please sign up in the lobby if you would like to attend.
DIVORCECARE – Begins, Sunday, July 9th @ 6:30 p.m. DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. If you or someone that you know is going through this experience, please invite them to join us.
SAVE THE DATE: ALC’s ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC – will be held on Saturday, August 5th from noon to 4:00 p.m. Hotdogs, hamburgers, beans & beverages will be provided. Bring your favorite dessert, salad or side! Plan to bring your entire family for food, fellowship and fun! Sign-ups will be out next month!
GRIEFSHARE is on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Room 8. This Christ-centered, biblically based ministry helps those who are going through the grief which comes from the loss of a loved one. Please tell those of your friends or families who need the comfort and support of this ministry.
