Picnic at the Park

It’s time for the annual Grace Church picnic! We’ve reserved Pavilions 1 & 2 at State Park, so there will be plenty of room to “keep your distance.”
We’ll order boxed lunches for $8 from Uptown Grill, or feel free to bring your own. Choose from chicken salad, ham & cheese, or veggie. Please place your lunch order by clicking the link below or by contacting Saralyn Temple ( by 7/20.
You can pay for your meal through the GivePlus app (choose the “event” category); you can also pay for your meal in person at the church office or by mailing a check to the church office.

Pastries with the Pastor

Interested in membership at Grace? Join the pastor immediately following the 9:30a worship gathering for an informal conversation about what it means to be a member at Grace Church. We'll be in person and on Zoom!
TODAY’S MESSAGE: "Strong Words"
TODAY’S BIG IDEA: We may be different shoots, but we have the same root and each branch is pruned to bear good fruit.

Visit our website to hear this message (and any older message that you might have missed). We typically post the latest one on Tuesday afternoons.
Reflect: Do you remember who or what brought you to either Grace Church or the first church that you can ever remember attending? What was it?
Reflect: What makes you feel like you have ownership here at Grace? What makes you feel like you are a part of the community of faith?
Reflect: How can you help someone else experience this?
Reflect: What happens in the church when we focus more on how vested we are in a local church instead of how invested we are in the mission of God’s kingdom in the world? Is there a difference? Why or why not?
Reflect: What’s one thing you can take away from the message this week and apply to your life?
Rest & Reflect: Days 6 & 7 are days of rest and reflection. Use these days to dig a bit deeper if you feel inspired.
