What was the last mission trip (domestic, local or foreign) you were on? Describe where you went and for what purpose. Tell them about the most impactful thing that happened on your trip. If you have not been on a mission trip, describe the last mission trip someone in your family experienced and what impacted them.



Do you currently know or support anyone serving in missions? Tell about where they are and what they are doing.



Read Matthew 28:16-20. Who is the audience for this message? Who is proclaiming the message? Where were they? Why were they there?



What was the reaction of the disciples when they saw Jesus? What four things did Jesus tell the disciples to do? Did he ask them or tell them? Of the four actions commanded of the disciples (vv. 19-20), which one is central? How are they to make disciples? Of whom? With what resources? Toward what end? What did Jesus have that allowed him to command the disciples to do these four actions?



In what ways can you fulfill the Great Commission in the context of your family? Work? School? Community? In the World? How can your group support you in this?

Last year Crosspoint had 18 opportunities to serve in short-term mission trips from our beloved Mission Northwest (our backyard), to our kids mission day projects, to trips all around the world! We are connected locally with Supper on Saturday, Kids Kount Tutoring, Bus Ministry, and Transformations all working to engage the local poor. Crosspoint Academy and Crosspoint Kids nursery are accepting applications! Academy teachers, assistants and subs work with kids from birth through pre-K. Hours range from 7:15 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. and days vary. Nursery caregivers work with kids from birth through elementary grades on Sunday mornings and Wednesdays evenings.
