When things begin to get tangled, knotted and
confusing, we think God must be absent.

Throughout the unfolding of God’s story, He continually reminds us, “I will be with you”. When He says that He means:

He will protect us. (Gen. 15:1)
He will provide for us. (Exodus 16:12)
He will go with us into the unknown. (Deut. 31:8)
He will defend us. (2 Chronicles 20:17)
He will be present in difficulty. (Psalm 23:4)
He will provide secure assurance in times of uncertainty. (Psalm 46)
He will lead us through times doubt. (Isaiah 41:10-14)
He will receive us as we serve those in need. (Matthew 25:34-40)
He will never, never leave us. (Hebrews 13:5)

“surely I am with you always” – used very uniquely in a way that does not occur anywhere else in all of the New Testament. It means: every part of every day; and day after day.

We are asking God to help us fulfill His command to “go” by providing:
Flight Attendants - Host homes (gift of hospitality)
Passengers - Participants (intergenerational believers where unity is in Christ)
Co-Pilots - Facilitators (good listeners, students of the Bible)
Travel Agents - Connectors (invite others are not yet followers of Jesus)
Ground Crew – People of prayer
