Shaping the New Normal
As we think about heading back to "normal" we are taking some time to ask, "what should normal look like?" Today we remember that God's plan is not just to reshape the church but to reshape the whole world through the church.

Share Your Faith
Jesus final words to his disciples commissioned them, and us, to a mission of sharing our faith to the whole world. Our unchanging mission as Jesus disciples to make disciples of Jesus. Today we take a look at sharing our faith from another angle, that of the recipient of our sharing.

How motivated are you to share your faith with others?

What is so good about the good news of the gospel?
The gospel means good news. That means it is something people should want to hear. That doesn't mean it is always well received. It does mean that when we share our faith with others we do it for their sake in the hope that they will find new life in Jesus. It helps to be reminded of how good the good news is.

What does it look like when people meet Jesus?
When we share our faith, our hope is that people will meet Jesus through us. Sure, the bible tells stories of people reacting negatively when they meet Jesus. That might happen to us as well. But when people truly meet Jesus, and see him for who he truly is it is beautiful and life changing.

As our life groups gather this week, we have attached our reference verse and some questions to prompt a deeper discussion and search into this week's topic.

1. A few weeks ago we talked about the great commission and our mission as a church. Take a moment to share about any opportunities you have had to share your faith since then.
2. Does sharing your faith with others feel like a burden or an obligation to you?
3. What might it look like to shift focus to being compelled by Christ's love for the other person?
4. Are you excited by the good news of the gospel? Take some time to share what excites you about the message of our faith to stir up faith in one another.
5. What barriers to sharing your faith do you experience both internally and externally? As we pray invite others to pray that these barriers would be overcome.
