When facing the future, uncertain times aren’t new.

What do you do when you are ask to step out in faith and things get uncertain?

God addresses Joshua’s fear of the future.

God teaches us how to be strong and courageous.

Strength is saying, “God, in the midst of unbelievable resistance, and pressure, and stress, and fear, I will choose to do what’s right.”

Courage is seeing the hand of God, listening to the Spirit of God, and living by the Word of God!

Three ways to face the future with confidence.

1. Believe in God’s promises to give you the power to overcome the unknown. (Faith)

If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, your future is secure!

2. Appropriate God’s power for victory to overcome your fear of failure. (Hope)

The reason we’re not strong and courageous is that the average believer is tipping God when it comes to Scripture. We must become men and women who live by the Bible.

Biblical faith isn’t believing a set of ideas. Biblical faith is believing God to the point of acting on the truth.

3. Recognize God’s presence with us. (Love)

Regardless of our circumstances, we can face the future in times of uncertainty!
